Accessibility

Our commitment
Higher Castle LLC aims for this website to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is part of how we build, not an add-on — the same standard we hold client work to applies to our own site.
What that means in practice
- Semantic page structure with headings in logical order
- Full keyboard usability, with visible focus indicators
- Color contrast checked against WCAG AA ratios
- A skip-to-content link on every page
- Form status messages announced to screen readers
- Alternative text wherever images carry meaning
Testing and known limits
We test with automated accessibility audits — this site currently scores 100 in Lighthouse's accessibility category — along with manual keyboard checks. Automated tools catch a lot, but not everything. If something slipped through, we want to hear about it.
Report a barrier
If you hit an accessibility barrier on this site, email accessibility@highercastle.com. Tell us which page and what went wrong, and we will look into it. We aim to respond within two business days.
